It's hard to believe that 2 years have passed since I wrote the note below. Now 4 years have passed in which I've been too busy to work on this thing. I intended to do someting with My Space but never did. Now I've joined Facebook - we'll see if I can get it together to do that. The nice thing about that is that I don't have to write in html, as I do on my own server/site here. This still needs a new organizational principle, obviously. Over the past two years I've done the Race Across America again and plan to continue to do it every couple of years. I've done lots of bike riding and bike tours. Bought a mountain bike (a Yeti) and now ride every day of the year; I have studded snow tires on it for the winter and the right biking duds to take me to -20 degrees F or so. I've been doing serious and good physics for the past 2 1/2 years and have been filing patents. The one that we will be filing in the next few weeks is the best science that I've ever done. People think it will be "huge", to use contemporary conversational English. I've gotten way past "groovy" and, soon, will get the hang of using "huge". I've never become a user of "like". I've gotten some good & impressive videos of our experiments that I'll put up on UTube or Facebook when the patent attorney allows it. Maybe soon I'll put an edit up of some that I did in my microwave oven. I essentially no longer cook for myself, so my kitchen has become a lab. More by & by.

I have been too busy for almost 2 years to do any work on this web site. It really needs a new organizational principle and I have not had time to reorganize and rewrite the web site. In the meantime, though, in my world of bicycling I did the Race Across America (RAAM), a 3043 mile race from San Diego, CA to Atlantic City, NJ and the Furnace Creek 508 bicycle race in the desert of Southern California in 2006 and have further races planned in the near future. In the meantime, though, I have gotten a My Space account - I'm "Ultracyclist" - and as I develop it I may put the RAAM and 508 pix on that. We have a slide show to music of the RAAM and our team and I may put that on UTube sometime.
